The preparations depend upon your destination: if your travelling destination is far away then make sure to have your pet’s health checked to see if it is healthy enough to bear the circumstances that might be experienced during travel, pack the things which your pet might need in the way and be sure to have your pet trained and groomed before travelling. • Make sure to let your pet examined by vet; verify that you have completed all the vaccinations and that your pet is healthy enough for travel. If possible you should have a complete checkup of your pet and obtain a Rabies and Health certificate. Also try to find out the conditions of your destination in order to keep your self up to date with your pet requirements.


• Make sure you complete your paper work before travelling either by air, ship, rail or road. It is also important sometimes to make sure you have ownership papers of your pet


• Make sure you have taken all the things for your pet’s enjoyment like: your pet favorite toys, food, water, leash etc. make sure that your pet is having Rabies tag and collar with ID on it.


• Have a cleaned out jugs of water so that there is no adverse effect on them of change of water. It is also important that you don’t feed full meat to your pet before the trip.


• Try to train your pet a month or so before travelling so that they could get used to the conditions that they might have to come across during travelling.
